Thanks. The generalisation is a little worrying since you're ignoring sports like Wrestling (yes, they call acting a sport...) which each game is an improvement beyond just graphics and people and small little things. But that's as far as I can tell.

Okay look: this isn't about just EA. Craploads of bad games are being released, and they are much worse than EA's, and there are a lot more than EA's. About the rushed games yes, that is true (my dad works at EA), however, they do get compensation time for that. My dad got a week off work after that. Also, I'll say that there ARE 2 games that they made that break the mold. One is Need For Speed Prostreet. They actually changed the GENRE of the series. Now, it's a simulation racer instead of an arcade racer. The other one is Skate, which I played, it's actually quite fun, and the cool thing was my dad's team made it. Anyway, yes, you are right, the other 98% of their games are booooooooring. AS I WAS SAYING, this isn't just about EA. The way to solve this problem is to just buy good games. Don't buy Naruto Ultimate Ninja #434575, buy Half Life. Don't buy Madden 'XX, buy Ninja Gaiden, etc. I think the bankrupt shitty gaming companies will get the message.
But:
A. Retards would still buy them.
B. The developers lose out due to the incompetence of the publisher.

I have given up on EA, they suck, rushing their games and produceing crap products that we mistakely think to be good untill we buy them only to find that we could shit a better game.
Over Winter Break I was bored so my sister and I went to the local video store. I looked but didn't find any movies and quite frankly I wanted to play a video game. I scrolled through the small area where they kept the games, looking specificly for a hack-an-slash, rpg, with equipable armor, that's 2players. I finally settle on "Lord of the Rings" but I had NOT noticed it was created by EA. So we take it home, take 15mins to figure out the complex second player turn on button, then only one character runs around. Seems you could only run with one character on the screen at a time.
Then I find that you don't hack and slash your' enemies, turns out it's a turn based battle, the worsed type of game. So the first player would attack, then it was 2nd players turn, then the enemy. But as we gained more playable characters the first player would go 2 times and 2nd player would only be able to go once. A single player game trying to pass as a 2-p.
On top of that the sound, picture, atribute, and armor system was just butured. I would not advised anyone to even look at this game, you will be disappointed. So I give up on their games.
It scares me slightly that EA is actually making a game which looks good but may end up being poor. Specially due to their tendency to use their poor servers. Army Of Two looks like it has good potential but I'll only think it's good when I see it.
I have to agree. The primary source of income is.... The Sims 2. Without that, they would be dying.

I totally agree with you dude. For far too long, EA have fucked up every game they've laid their sweaty little mitts on (except Black, and the Burnout series) and its about time they started sorting this mess out. And i hate the way they've fucked up the FIFA franchise since FIFA 04. I had high hopes for FIFA 08 on PS3 this year, but it turned out to be a rushed, glitchy piece of crap, so i had to turn to PES 08 which also turned out to be a right mess. So no footy game for me :( I think the way they develop games have also had an effect on other games series as well. PES, SmackDown! vs RAW, and other games have also become nothing more than yearly updates now, and its pissing me right off. And as a Sonic fan, don't even get me started on SEGA. I second this protest/boycott. End rant.
